Basic ass broccoli has never been so proud as to be plated with that prestigious meat

Way over but I’ll bet it was delish, do you even internet??

  4. You killed it- if you wanted a small pink rectangle in the center

Crank up that burner heat next time. You’ll get a better sear and less of a gray band

I think it’s generally suggested that you need to cook meat like this more than you would a less marbled piece.

Looks delicious and I bet it tasted great! Yeah, there’s some good advice here in the comments, but ignore the Negative Nancys who probably had a hot pocket for dinner

I think it looks amazing. I’d crush this plate.

The gray ring will turn people off. But the sear is super consistent and I’m sure it was delicious!

I agree that this is not how *I* would like my steak. However, this is *your* steak, and you shouldn’t listen to people trying to tell you how to cook it.

Anyone complaining about how you cooked this is just salty they can’t afford it. Ignore them.

  11. All “grey band” debate aside, that’s the most perfectest crust I’ve even seen 🫡

  12. As someone who lives in Japan I gotta say what this sub thinks how A5 wagyuu should be prepared is embarrassing. The thing in the picture is prepared wrong and not even done… Your are losing out on so much flavor…

I simply cannot justify the amount of money this cube of meat costs. But…rods, reels and gear have no limit so we all have our vices. I am curious though. I enjoy a well-marbled steak but where does one draw the line between meat and fat? I’m not ignorant to the quality but the price point is not worth it to me. That’s just my opinion. I’m sure it was delicious and I hope you enjoyed every bite.

I like it medium if its A5. The fat needs to be rendered down.

Mean looks PERFECT! However I will never get, and this is a personal thing obviously, why ruin such or any steak by eating it with sides? Maybe max some bread or a potato, but broccoli and rice or corn or even powerful sauces everyone likes to dumb on are just ruining quality meat, you lose the taste.
